Karen Sherwood is a licensed dietician nutritionist (LDN), certified nutrition specialist (CNS), and holds a masters degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport with a deep focus on functional medicine.

Working at the intersection of the physical & emotional body and extensive training in meditation and neuroplasticity, she combines yoga, meditation, and lifestyle-coaching along with clinical nutrition with specialties including neurological health (anxiety/depression), women’s health/fertility, weight loss/metabolic health, children’s health, digestive health, cancer prevention, and cardiovascular disease support. She empowers families to take daily steps closer to nature using food-as-medicine recipes, biohacking tips, and rituals for wellbeing. 

She has contributed to online health & fitness publications including Yoga Journal, Mind/body green, and Active.com, and has served as resident nutritionist at the Sports Club LA (Boston, MA), Live in Fitness Enterprise (Los Angeles, CA), Exhale Spa (Santa Monica, CA), and a corporate wellness coach at Optum/United Healthcare.
